After the tragic death of Hickstead last year it was to Coriana van Klapscheut to prove herself as the first horse of Canadian Eric Lamaze. Last year the pair won several 1m50 and 1m60 classes in La Baule, Calgary, Rotterdam and Rome. With Mabab van Klapscheut Auction Aalst International offers the brother of this high quality mare. Mabab is a son of Nabab de Reve out of the mare Uriana van Klapscheut (Heartbreaker), a successful jumper herself at 1m45 level under Gilbert Deroock and later Nina Fagerstrom. Uriana is beside the dam of Coriana and Mabab also the dam of Blendy van Klapscheut, a daughter of Ahorn Z who is successful under Lennart van Vlaenderen.
